Review: Jack at the Helm

Jack at the Helm
Jack at the Helm by Lisa Doan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Review:

Jack at the Helm is the third book ithat I have read in Lisa Doan's Berenson Schemes series. I have absolutely loved all 3 books. The illustrations are funny and quirky and so are Jack's nutty parents who are not exactly parent material, but are trying. As always, Jack's parents have dived into a new and outrageous career and brought sensible Jack along on their very less than sensible escapade. As always Jack is the voice of reason when his parent's nutty nature gets them in over their heads. Very funny & entertaining. His parents are so clueless, but energetic that it can't help but be funny.

I was given this book for review purposes, and have provided my hinest opinion of this wonderful children's book.

Book description:

Jack's parents have bought a farmhouse in Nepal. It'll be the site of a new religion--their latest get-rich-quick scheme. Sure, the Berensons don't know quite how to get to the place. But once they arrive, their plan is sure to work.
