Moon Shine Art Spot review:

**** ~ awesome read

I loved this book from the beginning because Pap shot straight to my heart. The story is so real and absolutely human. Pap is quite a character himself, and his determination and warped humor were enough to keep me turning the pages. I love old men that just put it back to the world and refuse to lay down for anyone.

There are quite a few noteworthy scenes and enough action to keep you guessing and wondering about everyone's loyalties til the last page.

I have many book to review and often put one down because it doesn't hold my interest. I had no such problem with this book. Between the drama & humor, I had to keep reading because I had to find out how Pap came out on the end and then found myself so caught up in the shifting loyalties that I couldn't stop reading.

Author Bio ~ Carl Purdon

Carl Purdon lives in Pontotoc, Mississippi with his wife and two of their four children. Pontotoc is halfway between Tupelo, which is the birthplace of Elvis, and Oxford, which was the home of William Faulkner. Since he can’t sing, he writes. Since he’s not an expert on anything in particular, he writes fiction.

Carl knew at a very early age he would write novels someday. He prepared himself by reading a wide variety of books, and by falling down a few times. His passion is observing people. His goal is to create characters so real his readers will feel they know them by the end of the book. In February of 2012, he released his debut novel, The Night Train, then, just over a year later, followed it up with his second novel, Norton Road. His third novel, Blinders, is on track for a March 2014 release.

ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK THAT THE PRICE IS STILL $.0 at checkout!!!

The 38th latitude divides the United States roughly in half. After decades of blistering partisan debate over immigration, gay rights, euthanasia, gun control, capital punishment, school prayer, same-sex marriage, and on the brink of total anarchy following three bloody nationwide riots over pro-choice, the United States is forced to split itself into separate north and south republics along the 38th latitude.

Latitude 38 is a cautionary tale of love, peril, and one woman’s quest to die with dignity. Diego and Adriana Sanchez are deeply in love and their world is shattered when she is diagnosed with terminal cancer. They live south of the 38th where terminal patients are given only placebos to fight excruciating pain. Their sole option is to flee to the north where euthanasia is mercifully encouraged.Latitude 38 is the story of Diego and Adriana’s enduring love and their courageous journey in search of dignity and humanity as a small group of “tourists” attempts to secretly cross the heavily guarded border in a cruel, dogmatic, and violent world.

Free ebook, Dimension Shifter, T.M. Nielsen

Dimension Shifter
by T.M. Nielsen
FREE on Kindle
The dimensions are in chaos, magic is illegal, and water is a rare commodity. Kyrin is running from the law. As a magic user, she’s marked for death, and as a run-away from the Shadowmere, she’s hunted as a weapon. Shifting between dimensions is all that’s kept her alive.

On the brink of being caught by the Shadowmere, Kyrin stumbles into a dimension devoid of the drought and seemingly untouched by the wrath of the Consortiums. In this dimension she finds a people innocent of the evils of the universe and naïve to the worlds surrounding them.

Lord Alric has ruled over his kingdom for 15 years under the direction of their god, Sithias. Before his time, the gods fought, and evil was removed from the lands. It isn’t until Kyrin arrives that he’s even considered that evil may still be among them, or that the long-dead use of magic may still be around.
