Review: Identity Theft

Identity Theft
Identity Theft by Anna Davies

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Hayley was enjoying life as much as possible by studying herself crazy and applying herself and devoting all of her time and energy to academic excellence. She was in line for a major scholarship for college that will prevent her mom from having to worry about her finances. She takes her future very seriously and has totally given up on social events.

In the heat of her rise to meet her dreams, she begins being harassed by an online ID claiming to be her partying and having a good time. There are pictures of her in places she knows she did not go doing things she did not do. She begins a race to keep her future & scholarship chances from being ruined by this impersonator. She discovers she has a twin, but her mother continues to lie to & she finds herself & others wondering if she has cracked from the academic pressure.

The book is full of action, mystery, and plenty of surprises. Just as I would think I had the story figured out something new & more intriguing would happen.

This review is an honest opinion of the book received free for honest feedback purposes.

  1. This book was wickedly freaky. What if you were a straight shooter dedicated to success in high school and working hard to secure your future when someone who looks just like you starts a fake Facebook page and posts pages of YOUR FACE ruining your chances at a scholarship, yet school officials and even your friends think it is you!!!
