A PARANORMAL ROMANCE

Zoe Grayson needs a change. So, she moves to another state, purchases an old, dilapidated 1920s Victorian Mansion, and sets out to restore it to its former glory. As she begins the restoration, she finds herself falling in love with the old house . . . not to mention its illustrious builder, Mr. Lancaster. Zoe becomes obsessed with the house as she discovers its secrets; hidden rooms, secret passageways . . . and a mysterious man who seems to think the house is his. Who is he? More importantly, how does he live in her home unseen and unheard?

The unexpected answers leave her reeling—and questioning everything she’s ever known. To her dismay, Zoe’s actions land her in the local psychiatric hospital, scheming for ways to return to Lancaster House . . . and the love of her life.

MoonShineArtSpot's Review:

I loved this book from the moment I saw the cover... It was immediately creepy & after knowing a haunted old mansion was involved I was hooked. I have always loved old houses & the thought of hidden rooms & antiques still in it... HEAVEN. I immediately liked Zoe & her get it done attitude when it came to repairing the once beautiful old house. I also liked that she didn't freak out over all of the unfortunate things happened that brought her to Lancaster House & her determined new start in life. She had been through a lot in life and deserved a break. I fell in love with Andre myself when he made his appearance.

Lancaster House is a very original and beautiful story. I loved the writing so much I am just about wordless. It is the perfect love story with the paranormal element making it perfect for me (not a romance lover) because it added excitement, suspense, unexpected elements that just kept on getting better.

Taylor Dean's writing was so descriptive that I have my own little pictures of Lancaster house in my head. I finished this book in about 2 days which says alot about it. I usually read a few books at once when I kind of lose interest in one, I switch to the other making notes along the way, but I never lost interest in this astonishing story for a minute. I held my breath like a love sick kid at points & a scared kid at other points. Lancaster has definitely made it to one of my favorite stories of all time. I was provided a copy of this book for an honest review.
