Rosecliff Manor
Haunting ****

Holy
creepers that book cover !!!
Nothing
says haunted like a “Chucky” look-a-like doll in an attic window.
“Rosecliff
Manor Haunting” is book 2 of the Addison Lockhart series. I
haven't read book 1 “Grayson Manor Haunting” . . . yet. I
will be looking for it now though.
There
is a sneak peak of book 3 in this series “Blackthorn Manor
Haunting” at the end of this book also. Being honest, I did NOT
read the sneak peak BECAUSE I can't stand to read a sneak peak... get
excited... and then can't get the book because its not published yet,
or not even ready to send out an ARC.
I
absolutely sure it will be fabulous. I'm also sure that I WILL read
the 3rd book in the future.
Addison
Lockhart is a psychic medium, as was her mother, and as is her
grandmother. In Addison's family, this gift is passed down the
maternal line, from mother to daughter. Being a medium is not a gift
that you can choose . . . or “turn off”. You also don't get to
choose when, where, who or how the dead come to you.
When
Addison saw the two twin girls playing in the cemetery, waved and one
of the girls spoke to Addison, she thought they were real. She
didn't realize they were dead – until they controlled her dream and
brought her to the iron gates of their home, Rosecliff Manor.
What
follows is a paranormal mystery and suspense, full of deceit, anger,
danger and hope for resolution.
This
wasn't an evil, vengeful haunting. It was more of an innocent,
playful haunting – for the dead anyway. But you don't have to
worry about gruesome nightmares after reading this book.
Great
book and I could easily recommend it to readers age 14 and older. It
would be an excellent School Library book.
